Frequently asked questions
Before you request a demo
What exactly is an interactive 3D walkthrough, and how is it different from a 360° video?
An interactive 3D walkthrough is a real-time application built in Unreal Engine 5 that the user controls — choosing where to look and move within predefined key points — while a 360° video is a pre-recorded file with no real navigation freedom; Alhambra Media's interactive walkthrough is, in fact, the very same project that produced the renders and video, now made navigable.
Do I need a virtual reality headset to experience the walkthrough?
No — the walkthrough works perfectly on a computer or tablet with keyboard, mouse or touchscreen navigation; a VR headset is an optional add-on for full immersion, recommended for investor presentations or sales offices, but never a requirement.
Where can the interactive walkthrough be deployed?
It can be deployed on a dedicated computer at the project's sales office, at a trade fair booth with or without a VR headset, or embedded directly on the project's own website so any visitor can navigate it remotely — the deployment method is defined in the first technical meeting.
How long does it take to develop an interactive Unreal Engine walkthrough?
Turnaround depends on project complexity and the number of navigation points, and is confirmed after the first technical call; since it starts from the same 3D model already used for renders and video, development is faster if those levels have already been produced.
Is an interactive walkthrough useful for presenting a project to international investors?
Yes — it's actually one of the most common use cases: the interactive experience lets an investor or buyer walk through the project in first person without traveling, with bilingual (Spanish and English) support during the presentation.
